Main uses

Tegraproof C crystalline capillary waterproofing system is a product which contains a blend of Portland Cement, quartz aggregates and specialised chemicals. In the presence of moisture, the active chemical additives in Tegraproof C penetrate concrete and reacts chemically with free lime to produce insoluble crystals. This crystalline growth reduces concrete porosity by blocking capillaries and filling hairline cracks up to 0.25 mm caused by shrinkage or expansion. Unlike membrane types of waterproofing which only provide a surface barrier the Tegraproof C continues to produce crystals in the presence of water. Tegraproof C therefore provides long-lasting impermeability to water.
Tegraproof C is the basic formulation for waterproofing applications. Tegraproof C can be applied as a dry shake to newly poured concrete or mixed with water to produce a slurry coating for walls and floors.
