Fosroc is established in its current form
1972 marked the inauguration of Fosroc International Ltd. (the FOS coming from FOSECO)
Al Gurg Fosroc Founded
Al Gurg Fosroc was founded as a joint venture between HE Easa Saleh Al Gurg and Fosroc International in Dubai. Al Gurg Fosroc was the first construction chemicals company to establish a manufacturing base in the region
Fosroc India
Fosroc India commenced it's operations with three modern manufacturing facilities at Bangalore, Ankleshawr and Rudrapur
Merger With Expandite
In 1991 Fosroc merged with Expandite, another established and successful construction chemicals company forming one of the largest suppliers of construction chemicals in the world
Acquisition of Fosroc by the JMH Group
JMH Group, a private group founded by Dr James Hay, acquired Fosroc from BP in 2002
Fosroc Technology Centre
A state-of-the-art technology centre was created in Bangalore to develop innovative and high-end technology products
Global Expansion
Fosroc continues to expand its global presence, investing in new facilities in Vietnam and Iraq
Fosroc enter Turkey
Fosroc acquires Idea Chimya, the Turkish market leader for cement additives
Fosroc enter Africa
