Main uses
it will assist the crack-bridging ability of the topcoat and it is also a reactive penetrant capable of producing a chemically bound hydrophobic barrier. This prevents the capillary passage of chloride and sulphate ions, which are otherwise corrosive towards embedded steel reinforcement.
