Main uses
Nitoprime AW is water-based primer composed of acrylic emulsion polymer, properly selected fine fillers, white pigments & additives in water as a medium. It is used as primer for cementitious substrates for application of Nitocote Wallguard, Brushbond Roofguard and other water based acrylic coatings.
Advantages
- Bonding - Good adhesion with cementitious substrates and other water based acrylic coatings.
- Suitability - Used as a primer on internal and external surfaces.
- Alkali resistant - Based on chemically inert polymers hence suitable for high pH substrates.
- Penetration - Provides deep penetration thus imparts excellent adhesion.
- Efflorescence - Provides excellent efflorescence resistance due to its chemical inertness.
- Opacity - Improves the hiding property by providing white finish.
