Main uses
At low dosages, it maintains the behaviour of conventional plasticisers. It can also be used as a superplasticiser or high range water reducing admixture when high dosages are added.
Advantages
- The required consistency is maintained for longer periods of time, allowing its use in a ready-mixed concrete plant.
- As it is free of chlorides, it can be used in reinforced of pre-stressed concrete.
- It is suitable for mass concrete in large volumes, both as vibrated and roller compacted concrete.
- It facilitates the concrete placement in an easier and quicker way.
- It increases the cohesion of the concrete and its resistance to freeze-thaw cycles.
- It increases the mechanical strength significantly.
- It is specially suitable for pumping. It improves the workability without adding extra water and thus keeping the strength levels.
