Fosroc India Skill Development Training for Masons and Unskilled Workers atTrivandrum
On April 8th and 9th, 2025, Fosroc India, in collaboration with INSTRUCT, conducted a two-day skill development training program at Trivandrum, aimed at empowering masons and unskilled personnel through specialized technical training.
With participation from over 40 attendees, the program combined both theory and hands-on practical sessions to provide comprehensive insights into essential construction practices. The agenda focused on basic waterproofing, tiling solutions, and masonry practices commonly followed at construction sites.
Day 1: Waterproofing & Tiling Solutions
The first day introduced attendees to the fundamentals of waterproofing, highlighting its role in enhancing structural durability. Live demonstrations enabled participants to witness the application of waterproofing products.
This was followed by an engaging session on tiling solutions, where participants took part in practical applications, learning best practices for various tile adhesive systems.
Day 2: Masonry Practices
The second day cantered around masonry works, offering a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical demonstrations. The session covered key techniques and common challenges, emphasizing quality workmanship for reliable construction outcomes.
Participants showed keen interest throughout the sessions, recognizing the value of these learnings in enhancing their skillsets and improving their future employment prospects.
