Fosroc Conducts Skill Training for Masons and Workers in Shivamogga
Fosroc, in partnership with INSTRUCT, organized a two-day skill development program on February 20th - 21st, 2025, at Nirmiti Kendra, Shivamogga. The training aimed to enhance the skills of 40 unskilled workers in waterproofing, tile adhesives, and masonry work, helping them improve their expertise in construction practices.
Day 1: Waterproofing & Tile Adhesives
Participants learned about essential waterproofing techniques used in construction, followed by live product demonstrations. The session also covered tile adhesives and application methods, ensuring better and more durable tile fixing solutions.
Day 2: Masonry Techniques
The second day focused on masonry work, where experts guided attendees through different masonry techniques, including bricklaying, mortar preparation, and structural stability.
The training received great participation and positive feedback, with attendees appreciating the practical knowledge gained. This initiative reflects Fosroc’s commitment to empowering the workforce and improving construction quality through skill development programs.
