THE PROJECT
The project is the construction of a metro rail in Pune. There are four major contractors for this project; JKIL, TATA Gulermack, SPCL and NCCL are constructing Line 1 (16.59 km with 5 underground and 9 elevated stations) and Line 2 (14.66 km with 16 elevated stations). The major concrete grades range from M25 to M60. Our customers require a sustainable structure with high quality products and solutions for their problems.
THE SOLUTION
The Fosroc team established a high quality, rheology- and PC-based admixture, Auracast 270M in M60 and M50 grades of concrete, for precast segments and girders to resolve the problem of slump drop, with high retention and pipeline choking, optimizing the cost per cubic meter against our competitors. We are also using Auramix 300 in grades up to M40. Repair products, segmental glue, curing compound, mould release oil and epoxy grout products have also been supplied from our product basket, which have been approved by our consultant, MahaMetro. The customers are highly satisfied with our solution.
