The Proofex range has long been recognised as a trusted solution in waterproofing, but with evolving industry demands and the ongoing challenges of unpredictable UK weather, the need for faster application times and improved project turnaround has become increasingly important.

To meet these needs, Fosroc UK and Ireland has developed two innovative additions to the Proofex range, designed to enhance efficiency and streamline project delivery.

Proofex Spray Primer

The quick and efficient way to prime. Spray applied and ready to go in minutes, it makes waterproofing projects faster and more reliable.

• Faster: Up to 8× quicker than roller application
• No downtime: Rapid tack-off means membranes can be laid immediately
• Reliable: Performs in cold conditions and reduces risk of reapplication
• Long-Lasting: 12-month shelf life when stored correctly

Proofex Spray Primer offers application up to eight times faster than traditional roller-applied primers, with rapid tack-off that eliminates downtime between priming and membrane installation, ensuring immediate watertight protection. Its efficiency reduces the risk of reapplication caused by weather or time constraints, while also performing reliably in colder conditions. In addition, with a shelf life of up to 12 months when stored correctly, it can be used across multiple projects with minimal waste, delivering both practical and economic benefits.

Strong, simple, and durable – watertight protection in just two coats.

Proofex Waterproof Render has been carefully engineered to respond to a clear industry need: improving workability while reducing both cost and material usage without compromising performance. Unlike the traditional three-coat systems commonly used, Proofex Waterproof Render is a two-coat system, immediately saving time and resources.
