Fosroc is celebrating a 50-year milestone in providing solutions to the Irish construction industry, with product sales dating back to 1971. Earlier this month, the Irish sales team visited key distribution partners to present 50-year award plaques in recognition of their support.

As Irish sales flourished during the seventies, Fosroc established an Irish-based sales force. While it would be possible to service Ireland by flying sales representatives over from the UK, the emphasis was to ensure clients in Ireland received the highest standard of service possible, in terms of technical product expertise, training and supply turnaround. With the added benefit of location-specific knowledge, and high availability for site inspections, Fosroc’s offering in Ireland proved to be more beneficial for clients than many alternative suppliers. Today, Fosroc still works closely with its distributor network, such as key Irish partners Murdock Civils, Total Pipeline Specialists, Anchor Bay Construction Accessories and MacNaughton Blair. Products are regularly shipped every week from the UK mainland to keep stocks ready and available. Fosroc’s robust sales and operations infrastructure is designed to support distributors, specialist applicators, main contractors, and end users at every project stage. Fosroc has been involved in many successful projects on the Emerald Isle over the years, with products used for industrial, public and commercial constructions in addition to major transportation and utilities infrastructure. Examples of recent build projects in Ireland where Fosroc products were used include Dublin Airport, Dublin Cross City Tram System, Lansdown Road Stadium, Downpatrick Racecourse (Resin Floors), Ballymena Housing Authority, Stormont Wharf & Hawlbowline Jetty (Dry Spray Concrete) Ardnacrusha Dam and Parteen Weir in County Tipperary.
