THE SOLUTION
Fosroc took this opportunity to specify its anti carbonation coating as protection to the concrete. “Dekguard E 2000”, an aliphatic, water based coating system was proposed and accepted by the railway authorities.
THE BENEFIT
Dekguard E 2000 - Complies with all the requirements of an anticarbonation coatings such as:
- High performance comprehensive barrier against carbon dioxide , water,
- sulphates and chlorides.
- Crack accommodation withstands substrate cracking up to 2 mm and cyclic movement up to 1 mm.
- Extremely durable maintains elastomeric per formance, with high recovery, even
- after long term UV weathering.
- Breathable water vapor can escape from the structure.
- Colour Choice Wide range of colo u rs to choose from.
