THE PROJECT
The IIT Hyderabad built on an area of 576 acres property, will accommodate approximately 30,000 people that includes 20,000 students. It has a built-up area of 6.3 million Sqm. The growth of the campus is planned in phases. At present L&T working on its development.
This Phase-II project of IIT Hyderabad has a knowledge center, research center, technology incubation park, a sports and cultural complex, an international guest house, a convention center and Academic department building. M/s L&T Construction was involved with majority of the development.
THE SOLUTION
Fosroc team worked out the detailed proposal for waterproofing of the various facilities offering Nitocote CM210 for the concrete retaining walls, Nitoproof 600PF ideal for the large roofs and Brushbond RFX for toilets and wet areas.
SITE SUPPORT
Tight site-specifications, detailed CAD drawings and application method statements and application support for Nitoproof 600PF is currently in progress on the roofs.
Polyurea WH200 applications were all completed two years back. Performance is good.
L&T is the contractor and the whole project was directly executed by IIT Hyderabad.
