Job holder will report to the Regional Sales Manager

Objective of the role:

  • Achieve sales target – volume and margin
  • Write and follow through specifications from document to contract alongside regional team members following the BS8102 standard
  • Develop new and existing business relations with specifiers and via periodic meetings and CPD seminars whilst maintaining and developing waterproof alliance contractor database
  • Identify project opportunities via business relations, market intelligence, Barbour ABI

 

Key areas of responsibility:

  • Monthly report of activity and planned actions in line with objectives and KPI’s via Business Plan document
  • Communication within team to ensure product group budget is achieved and help towards their objectives and company’s overall objectives and targets
  • Maintain project funnel added and managed on Project Tracker
  • Carry out training and tool box talks for contractors
  • Develop the client base further to add additional revenue  streams and growth opportunities through development of solutions to solve the client needs and differentiate Fosroc from the competition

  • Understanding the  key business drivers and converting into profitable sales
  • Able to complete a business plan, and execute business objectives
  • Understanding and experience of the UK construction sector, and its internal drivers
  • Communication skills; computer literate and presentational skills
  • Analytical skills
  • Negotiation skills
  • Able to work independently and as a team player
  • Drive, tenacity and results orientated
  • UK Driving Licence

  • Competitor knowledge
  • Product knowledge, how Fosroc products fit within the construction industry
  • Marketing awareness able develop the Fosroc position
  • Key account management
