What your role involves

As General Sales Manager for the UK & ROI I am responsible for ensuring the regional teams have the support and tools to carry out their work towards their objectives.  My experience in each of the sales roles Fosroc currently offer enables me to assist every member of the team from Area Sales Manager through Specification Manager.  I’m keen to promote a clear succession plan for members of the team who like me wish to further their career within Fosroc.

Your story - career summary to date

I started with Fosroc as an Area Sales Manager in 2004. The Area Sales Manager role was a vital learning position for me in understanding the core requirement to satisfy the customer. Having been a customer to Fosroc previous to my employment I was keen to continue the strong culture of trust and reliability that Fosroc have held in often difficult industry circumstances. More recently I have been a Waterproofing Specification Manager and it was in this role that I laid out the idea of Project Integrity. Project Integrity is a vital cog within the Fosroc operation, giving a client full confidence that a we can create fully value engineered solutions for their scheme and in some cases alongside bespoke products, full site support and crucially technical competence. The idea is a ‘full circle’ offer to which Fosroc have fast becoming renown for. During my time with Fosroc I’ve also been fortunate to travel around the world and assist projects including Dubai, Kuwait, Qatar, Romania and Spain.

Every day at Fosroc offers a new exciting challenge to be involved in. From the development of new products through to the management of our business partners. I’m very lucky to be surrounded by a team of people who share the ideas and passion that is required to ensure the business reacts to an industry that never stands still. My career has always been supported by the company where good ideas, training and good practice are always promoted and shared.
