Job Description

  • To call on Consultant Engineers, Architects, Government Departments and Client bodies to allow Fosroc products to be specified.

  • To liaise closely with the sales team when calling on prospective customers at the pre-tender stages in order that a Fosroc product submission can be made.

  • Where competitor's products have been specified, the jobholder will make counter proposals with appropriate supporting documentation.

  • To introduce new products to major Contractors, Consultant Engineers, Architects and Client bodies

  • To produce and deliver technical presentations.

  • To produce and deliver product training presentations to Fosroc staff or clients.

  • To participate in the monthly sales meetings in support of the BPM processes.

  • Compilation of reports and forecasts as required. Including project pipelines and Sales Action Plans.

  • Develop and implement specification plan that is aligned with the Group Strategic Goals specifically in terms of growth and market share. To feed into the 5 year rolling Business Plan.

  • Awareness of competitors activities and identify relevant threats and opportunities.

Key Skills and Experiences

  • Civil Engineering qualification or appropriate experience.
  • 5 years experience managing and promoting high specification industrial products.
  • 3 years working experience as a Specification/Sales Manager in the Building and Construction industry.
  • Experience in the construction chemical products sector
  • Able to work under pressure and promote good teamwork with other colleague & division member
