Role Description

To provide a professional, first class service to new and existing customers via both the telephone and electronic methods of communication.  Playing a key part of the sales team to actively support, integrate and feedback to them on a regular basis whilst being able to promote and market a mix of products and examples of technical expertise.  Being accountable for personal workload, create and enhance own project bank. 

 Existing Customers:

  • Expand on current commercial sales of products by upselling and highlighting technical advantages
  • Monitor key products and identify sales patterns with designated customer against sales targets
  • Introduce ‘Complete Solution’ product offer
  • Establish and maintain regular contact with customers

 New Customers:

  • Identify new customers and introduce the organisation
  • Introduce ‘Complete Solution’ product offer
  • Arrange appointments for external sales team
  • Proactively research and identify new projects and create opportunities 
  • Establish and maintain good customer working relationships
  • Qualify leads from Fosroc website & technical department

 

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Required to use a proactive approach to make regular out bound calls 
  • Collate project lead information from team
  • Monitor and measure sales gains and deficits and take proactive improvement action where identified or necessary
  • Work alongside Sales team to achieve company targets
  • Production of customer activity reports and prospect reports
  • Engage with marketing department to assist with campaigns and social media promotion
  • Collation of accurate information and data
  • Regular contact with industry member associations to promote Complete Solution offer
  • Regular, accurate and timely reporting

  • Previous telesales experience
  • Ability to sell solutions and products
  • Marketing experience – promotion of goods or services via social media and marketing campaigns
  • Commercial awareness
  • Flexible, adaptable and quick to learn
  • Organised and logical approach to work
  • Ability to work independently  
  • Self-motivated  
  • Excellent customer relations skills
  • Competent in Microsoft office specifically Excel and Outlook
