Job Description

  • To undertake corrective and preventive measures to ensure proper environment and health for the organization.

  • Train all related employees on Group HSE Training Module and ensure that all the employees are adequately trained, through formal and informal training session.

  • Enforce and ensure compliance of Permit to work standards and special permit all the times.

  • To prepare and to ensure compliance of internal HSE audits at regular intervals by GPM HSE Experts and external authorities

  • Compile monthly HSE Report (HSEIP, Monthly Stat Report & Monthly Highlight) for submission monthly categorization of all USAC’s reported/observed for that particular month. From which undertake continual categorization of the USAC’s and to prepare specific action plans as required to reduce USAC’s and and to eliminate re-occurrence.

  • To maintain the PPE Stock and issue of all PPE Purchase and ensure that the correct PPE are in use. To search for alternative supply source in order to get better quality and cost.

  • Conducting incident investigations identify root and contributory causes; prepare associated reports and action plan to eliminate/prevent reoccurrence.

  • Carry out formal risk assessment as per Fosroc Risk Assessment Methodology, for all Hazardous Task, New and Unusual Tasks and informal Risk Assessment for all PTE Certificates

  • Work closely with the GPM HSE Experts, providing reports and assessments as and when required ie: confined space entry work methodology.

  • As the Environment Management Representative of iso1400:2004, responsible for conducting internal audits and liaising with the external accessing body for interim and revalidation audits as necessary.

  • Lead in overseeing the management and the implementation of the company environmental policy and program, ensure company’s commitment to environment regulations are met

  • Responsible for the documentation and standardization of Environmental Management System (EMS) procedure updating

  • Ensure that adequate training is available to all employees concerning Environmental Awareness

  • Issuing and review HSE SOP Procedure for the Opco as and when required

  • Responsible for conducting HSE Induction for new employee, visitor, contractor and etc

  • Appoint as secretary of Safety and Health Committee

Role Description

To ensure that Fosroc HSE Standards and Procedures are fully implemented, ensure Legal Compliance and increase HSE awareness and establish a safe working culturein all Operational and Non Operational areas/functions.

Key Skills and Experiences

  • University degree in Occupational Safety & health/ Environment/ Science/ Engineering or equivalent professional qualification.
  • At least 10 years experience in Health, Safety and Environment in Manufacturing / Chemical environment.
  • Experience in conducting HSSE audit and accident investigation.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong Admin skills, competent in MS Excel, MS Word and MS Powerpoint.
  • Good analytical skills with good leadership quality.
  • Excellent time management and good training skills.
