Job Description

Business Development Managers works in marketing & Sales position within the regions. Responsible to drive high level objectives with regional sales, specification and central product segment manger team to increase sales opportunities of the respective product segment and there by maximize sales, profits & market share for their region.


To achieve this, they need to analyse sales budget prepared by Regional sales team Vs market potential, project data base and current customer base to drive regions to achieve 30% market share in the respective regions. Identify the potential new key prospects and corporate clients, develop high level CRM, ultimately drive team to convert them into corporate key accounts and continue to grow business. Business Development Managers will also help manage existing clients and ensure that they are satisfied with Fosroc solutions & service. BDM call on key clients, often being required to make presentations on solutions and new product introductions that meet their present and future needs

Role Description

Product portfolio comprises of existing & new products in waterproofing, adhesives, & sealants

Estimating market segment wise potential from various resources like project data base, clients, publications, competitor information, specification team etc. to support preparation and achieving of sales budget

Develop product regional strategies and implement to achieve 30% market

Identify, develop and manage through sales & specification team for

► Corporate accounts & Prospects 

► Public sector units

► Major consultants & Specifier

► Key Developers & Builders

► Key contractors

To maintain an excellent CRM with existing and potential client

Identifying  need of new products and product modification in terms of clear business objectives, launching and supporting sales & spec to achieve growth in segment sales & margin

Branding & Product promotion through seminars & technical presentations

Collect and update region wise  case study , job reference & testimonials

Identifying gaps in terms of market segment to widen customer base

Evaluates, analyses new product sales performance to assess effectiveness of product introduced.

Key Skills and Experiences

Engineering Degree from a recognized university ( Preferably Civil or Chemical )

10-15 Years Sales and Marketing experience in the Indian market CC business

Minimum 5 years at middle management level.

Preferably short term Management course in Sales
